A Laurel County woman is in jail after police say she hit her father and punched a deputy on Sunday. Heather Roark, 35, was arrested after father said she destroyed several items in his home. When the deputy arrived, she ripped equipment from his uniform and kicked and punched him in the chest. She now faces assault, menacing, and resisting arrest in addition to other charges.
