The Nascar Sprint Cup Series will return to the wine country of California this weekend as the Sonoma Raceway road course will host the series. Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will drive the pace car for the event. Jeff Gordon leads all drivers in wins (5), top 5’s (14), top 10’s (18), starts (22), poles (5), laps completed (2,223), laps lead (457) and average finish (7.9) at the track. Gordon was born in nearby Vallejo, California and will be making his final start at the track. Gordon is also the Road Course All-Time Winner with a total of nine wins at both Sonoma and Watkins Glen. Here is the complete schedule for this weekend’s activities:
