In Perry County, a crash that involved Perry County District Court Judge Leigh Ann Stephens has resulted in the death of one man. Stephens was involved in an accident last night on Combs Road near Turners Brothers Car Care in Hazard that claimed the life of one of the drivers involved. Police believe the accident happened when one car crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another head on. The passenger of the deceased was taken to a hospital and Stephens was treated for broken bones but is otherwise expected to be okay. Stephens also had a passenger who was treated for injuries. The names of the other three people involved, including the deceased, have not been released at this time.
