Troops still search for survivors in Flat Gap flood

As the search continues for survivors of the flood, one family is looking for a man they have labeled a hero. Scott Johnson of Flat Gap Kentucky was lost in the torrent, but his father believes that he was rushing in to save his grandmother, the departed Willa Mae Pennington. His loved ones are holding out hope that he is still alive, but say that finding him would give them closure.

Scott ran into the house, grabbed his 5 year old nephew and put him in the tallest tree he could find.  Told the boy to hold on tight and not to dare let go!  Scott then ran back into the house to grab the Grandmother and when he brought her out, it was to late!  The water had risen so high that it swept the two away.  Hours later, the boy was rescued from the tree and survived the flood!  Scott Johnson is definitely a hero in our eyes!
