The Kentucky State Police will be ramping up their patrols this Labor Day weekend. This is part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, which aims to reduce the number of deaths associated with drunk driving. In 2014 there with six fatalities associated with drinking and driving over the weekend, and 55 arrests. Officials encourage citizens to enjoy the weekend, but to ensure that they are taking precautions like designating a sober driver.
