It’s an undefeated Class A match-up between number ten Paintsville and the ninth ranked Pikeville Panthers. The Tigers knocked out Pikeville in the second round of the playoffs last season.

Paintsville Head Coach Joe Chirico knows his team has a tall task ahead of them, but if they stick to their game plan they can finish on top.

“We, in the past, we haven’t had a lot of success. Paintsville in the last ten years has been down and we’re just starting to get ourselves rolling. So, it’s now hard to humble our kids and understand that we’ve got to go to work no matter who we play we have to practice hard everyday to have a chance to win on Friday night. ” Said Coach Chirico.
