Rand Paul financial woes

A Kentuckian with presidential aspirations has added some much needed money to his war chest. Senator Rand Paul has been able to add 2.5 million dollars to his campaign over the last 3 months, and after paying his expenses he has 2 million left. This could be a troubling sign for Paul, since it is a 4 million dollar decline from his previous fund raising attempts. These quarterly funding benchmarks are considered a means of measuring a candidate’s strength. By comparison Ben Carson raised over 20 million last quarter.
