Judge Hardin looks for legal option

An Eastern Kentucky Official is seeking legal recourse to keep his office. Magoffin County Judge Executive Charles “Doc” Hardin stands accused of voter fraud. His opponent John Montgomery claims that Hardin gave absentee ballots to individuals ineligible to vote. While Hardin has denied the allegations, a circuit court has declared the office vacant, and the court of appeals has let the decision stand. Hardin’s legal team is now presenting the case to the Kentucky Supreme Court. He can remain in office while the case is still pending.
