Students at a local college had an unexpected visitor this week. Students and staff at Alice Lloyd College were alerted via text that a bear had wondered onto campus. Many students reported that they saw the animal but were not close to it. Alice Lloyd’s Dean of Students, Scott Cornett, said that the campus has had several animals wonder into it, but this is the first bear. While it has not returned to campus, officials say they will consider extra steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
