A local college showed it support for the Oregon campus that was rocked by a tragic shooting. Staff, Students, and members of the community gathered at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College to show their solidarity with Umpqua Community College. Lynn Moore is the President of Southeastern and this even has a deep meaning for her, because she was the vise president of Umpqua for 5 years before moving to Harlan County. The service had singing, a prayer and all five campuses of Southeastern joined other community college campuses across the commonwealth and held a moment of silence at the exact time the tragedy occurred a week ago.
