The University of Pikeville celebrates Faith on the Hill

A university is taking a week to celebrate religious worship. The University of Pikeville is gearing up for its annual religious emphasis week in November. The event will kick off on Monday with guest speaker, Buddist Monk, Robina Courtin. There will also be a workshop with the Haiti Mission Team, a multi-religion panel discussing issues of social justice, and will end on Friday with the slum survivor. This gives students an interactive look at the plight of the one billion people who live in slums around the world. These events are open to the campus and the community.
