Floyd County Deputies discovered the lost animal on Friday while patrolling route 80 near Bee Fork. According to their Facebook page as soon as they approached the stray it jumped into the cruiser, and spent the rest of the deputy’s patrol warming up. The department posted pictures on social media to try and find the lost dog’s owner. On Saturday their efforts were rewarded when they were able to reunite the dog, identified as Abby, with her owner.
