According to a release, Kentucky State Police at Post 8 Morehead announce the final traffic and criminal activity report for July 2016.  During July, Post 8 personnel issued 1,654 total citations.  Of those citations, 30 were for DUI, 196 were for Speeding, 164 for No Seat Belt, and 16 for Child Restraint.  In addition, there were 1,510 Vehicle Inspections and 331 Courtesy Notices issued.  Post 8 also investigated 51 Traffic Collisions, including a two vehicle double fatality collision in Fleming County. Post 8 investigated 1,009 Complaints, opened 64 Criminal Cases, and made 249 Criminal Arrests for the month of July.
