WYMT reports Kentucky State Police has hired a new captain for their Pikeville Post. Lieutenant Jennifer Sandlin will take command of Post 9 on Thursday September 1. Sandlin has served with KSP for several years and been a Lieutenant. She hopes to build stronger relations between the community and the troopers. Sandlin said she would like to do programs with the schools and partner with community organizations as well.
