The Herald-Leader reports a former University of Kentucky football player has filed a concussion lawsuit. Former UK wide receiver DeMoreo Ford is suing the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA in a class-action lawsuit along with other former players from Kentucky, Louisville, Murray State, and others. According to the lawsuit, Ford suffered his concussions during games and practices. After showing visible symptoms, he was told to return to play. He is said to now suffer from “severe headaches, depression, mood swings, and other debilitating issues.”
