On Saturday, September 3, 2016 Kentucky State Police Post 8 Morehead responded to a shooting incident at 76 Spring Street South in Morehead. Shaun M, May, age 36, of Morehead was shot by Clovis Hunter, age 86, of Morehead after a verbal altercation at their residence. The investigation is ongoing at this time and will be presented to a Rowan County Grand Jury.
