A Perry County man has been arrested after a police chase, reports WYMT. 18-year-old Andrew Oliver was arrested Saturday September 3 after officials with the Perry County Sheriff’s Department were responding to a series of break-ins at Robert W. Combs Elementary Friday night. Oliver, along with a 16-year-old, fled the scene in a car after police arrived. Oliver later rammed police cars and attempted to run over the officers. Of the six officers involved, one was taken to a hospital with hip and knee injuries. Oliver is charged with attempted murder of a police officer, fleeing or evading police, and wanton endangerment.
