CTA Acoustics started their week long road show in Harlan County Tuesday, September 6, according to Wymt. The company is looking to hire 80 people for their production department. CTA’s HR Generalist Sally Adams said increased production has created an increase in the number of workers needed. The road show is targeting laid off coal miners and those in the “promise zone” counties of Bell, Clay, Harlan, Knox, Leslie, Letcher, Perry, and Whitley counties to give job opportunities. The road show will be traveling through eastern Kentucky with stops in London and Manchester this week, with Williamsburg next week.
