Operations at Appalachian Regional Healthcare facilities in Kentucky and West Virginia have returned to normal, officials told WYMT. ARH was the victim of a cyber attack three weeks ago, and their Information Technology team has been working to restore their computer network. Maria Braman, MD, ARH Vice President of Medical Affairs, said they owe it to their patients “to be very thorough in this process and are taking the time needed to check all computers and be sure all…systems are safe and functioning properly.” Officials say ARH hospitals, home health, and retail pharmacies are now back online.
