Floyd County Superintendent Dr. Henry Webb announced Tuesday that Tonya Goodman, Director of District Wide Services at the Floyd County Board of Education, has been named the 2016-2017 District Assessment Coordinator of the Year by the Kentucky Association for Assessment Coordinators. Goodman received this honor at the KAAC Conference at the Galt House in Louisville. Dr. Webb commented, “The board team and I are proud to see Tonya’s work recognized at the state level. She keeps us all informed of regulations and procedure updates regarding assessment as well as making sure our 6,000+ kids get the right assessments and get their results. And that’s just part of the job she does for our kids.”
