Traffic was closed on part of US 23 in Prestonsburg Tuesday evening. North and southbound lanes near Tiger Mart were closed after an automobile collision around 8pm. Traffic was detoured through KY 114 and KY 1428 while emergency personnel worked to clear the scene and tend to the injuries of the drivers. Traffic was reopened on US 23 around 11pm. Prestonsburg Police were investigating the scene. We will update you with more information when it becomes available.
