Big Sandy Community and Technical College received four awards at the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations District 2 conference at the Pensacola Beach Hilton on Sunday, October 23. The college brought home gold and silver honors in the Nifty and Thrifty category for its custom children’s coloring book and fast facts pamphlet. They also were awarded a bronze in the print ad category for a football-themed “tackle your goals” advertisement, and a bronze in the notes, cards and invitation category. Accepting the awards for BSCTC were Public Relations Graphic Designer Brittany Carpenter; Director of strategic communications Joshua Ball; and Public Relations Assistant Jennifer Little.
