Last Day for Mail-In Absentee Voting

Today is the last day that Kentucky voters may apply to vote absentee by mail in the November 8 general election. Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said the deadline is important for any eligible person who is not able to vote in-person on or before Election Day, encouraging them to contact their county clerk to submit an application before the close of business today. Eligible mail-in absentee voters include those with disabilities, illness, or those with advanced age, those outside the county for all days and hours the polling place is open, military personnel, and those incarcerated but not yet convicted. In-person absentee voting is open in all counties and conducted during the county clerk’s regular business hours before November 8.
