Those with young trick or treaters will want to make sure their candy was checked thoroughly. The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed there was an incident in the Williamson area with snickers bars given out that were stuck with small sewing needles. No other incidents have been reported at this time.  If your child was given any suspicious candy, be sure to notify your local law enforcement agency.
