Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy Keith Liford charged John W. Bays, 50 of Artemus, KY, with receiving stolen property over $500, criminal trespass and criminal mischief on Wednesday. The charges result from a burglary at a residence on KY 1809 where several items were taken, including a Bailey Switch Fire Department’s fireman’s suit. The suit and several other items were recovered by Deputy Liford. Bays had previously been arrested on November 30 for a bench warrant involving several traffic violations and drug charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
