The Kentucky State Police, Pikeville Post is investigating a fatal house fire in Floyd County. On December 11, around noon, Post 09 received a 911 call of a structure fire at North May Street in the Langley community of Floyd County. The preliminary investigation revealed that emergency personnel located one unidentified individual deceased in the residence. The victim has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and identification. The cause of the fire and death is under investigation.
