Two Arrested in Laurel County on Drug, Theft Charges

The London Police Department responded to a complaint of a vehicle break-in late Saturday night at the Wal-Mart on KY-192. Officer Daryl Zanet arrived on the scene and found two vehicles had been broken into. Surveillance footage showed a black Subaru Outback belonging to the suspect, which was within Wal-Mart’s parking lot. Kimberly Hacker, 43, was inside the vehicle with the stolen items from the broken into vehicles in plain sight. Also in the vehicle was Vernon Adkins, 40, in possession of a large quantity of drugs and paraphernalia. They were arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
