Law Enforcement Officers Awarded for Impaired Driving Enforcement Actions

The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety honored 205 law enforcement officers across the Commonwealth, on December 15, for their efforts to target impaired drivers. The 2016 Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Lexington where officers with the most impaired-driving arrests in each agency were presented awards. Trooper Dustin Thompson received the DUI award on behalf of KSP Post 9. Post 9 Operation’s Lieutenant Donnie Shearer said Trooper Thompson was a great asset to their post and very deserving of the award.
