Two were arrested in Knox County on December 31 after Deputy Keith Liford received a complaint of two people in a van in a ditch in Barbourville. When Deputy Liford arrived on the scene, he observed the van, a pickup truck, and a man and woman. The man, Willie Hollin, 29, had walked to a family member’s house to get the truck to pull the van from the ditch. Located inside the truck were suspected bags of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Hollin, along with 37 year old Johna Lee Couch, were charged with possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, and driving on DUI suspended license.
