The city of Hazard will begin utilizing the Hazard Police Department’s Tip411 Program to send out alerts regarding utility services such as Boil Water Advisories and updates on utility outages. Residents already receiving alerts can log into their account at Tip411.com and check the box next to Utility Advisories to begin receiving alerts. If you don’t have an account, sign up is free at Tip411.com. Users can choose to have alerts sent by email, text message, or both.
