60 Students Accepted to MSU Craft Academy

The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics at Morehead State University has selected 60 students for its Class of 2019. Dr. Carol Christian, director of the Craft Academy, said these students represent the best and brightest in the Commonwealth. The Craft Academy helps meet the educational needs of academically gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors in Kentucky. A college-level curriculum will allow students to finish high school while also completing pp to two years of university coursework. Local students selected this year include Lottie Maynard of Wesley Christian High School in Floyd County, Bryson Blevins of Johnson Central High School, and Jeremiah Lowe of Belfry High School in Pike County.
