Two Arrested in Bell County Following Near Head-On Collision

On Tuesday, April 25, Bell County Deputies arrested two after nearly being struck head-on by a vehicle. A gray Dodge Neon was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of US 25E at 11:40pm. The vehicle was approached by deputies after it pulled into a motel. The driver, 22-year-old James Ramsey, said he didn’t have a license and handed Deputy Nick Capps a bag containing suspected crystal meth. The front passenger, 38-year-old Brandi Couch, was also in possession of suspected meth. Both were charged with possession of controlled substance, with Ramsey also charged with careless driving and no license.
