Indictment Names Possible Conn Accomplice

New information has been released about Eric C. Conn and his escape from the country. According to a report from the Lexington Herald Leader, a federal indictment that was unsealed Monday, October 16, charges Conn and Curtis Lee Wyatt with conspiring on Conn’s escape. Wyatt, who had worked at Conn’s law office, allegedly assisted Conn’s escape by procuring a backpack that blocks electronic signals, purchasing a pickup truck, and testing border security. The FBI is expected to hold a press conference on Wednesday, October 18 in Louisville.
