Due to the high volume of requests for receipts due to the county school tax refund, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is asking everyone needing copies of 2014 through 2016 property tax receipts to request them before October 31, 2017. The sheriff’s office is looking to start 2017 Property Tax collection in November and will need to free up tax computers and tellers.
