Two Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges in Ashland

Two were arrested following a traffic stop in Ashland on Monday, February 12, 2018. The arrest occurred in the early morning hours after Ashland Police conducted a traffic stop for a suspected DUI driver. The investigation led to officers recovering a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a firearm from the vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle, Steven Kent Lindsey and Sarah Cherry, were charged with trafficking in controlled substance and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Both were lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
