Kentucky’s draft 2019 Drinking Water Intended Use Plan, including the Project Priority List, is available for public review and comment from May 16, 2018 through June 15, 2018. The Kentucky Infrastructure Authority will have approximately $50,000,000 available for low-interest loans for construction of drinking water projects in Kentucky. The funds are part of the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, a low-interest loan program created by the Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of 1996 to provide a perpetual low-cost source of funding for efforts to protect or improve water quality. The draft, including the project priority list, can be viewed online at kia.ky.gov and water.ky.gov.
