Eight students with the Morehead Youth Development Center have earned the Bayer CropScience Plant Science Certification during the 2017-2018 academic school year. Through the intensive certification program, students gained essential career skills that promote a successful transition to post-secondary education and the workforce. Students with this certification have received background and knowledge in the plant science industry, including nutrition, genetics, water resources, and scientific classification. To earn the certification, each student completed hours of require coursework and passed a rigorous final exam.
