On Sunday, August 12, 2018, around 12:35am, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a domestic violence incident off Willie Green Road. Upon arrival at the scene, the male subject left, then later returned to the scene and was reportedly back inside the residence. The female subject stated she was outside in a car to keep away from the subject. When deputies arrived at the scene, they located the male subject, identified as 48-year-old Timothy Taylor of Somerset, inside the vehicle with the female victim. Taylor was charged with assault and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
