Kentucky Living Recognizes Six State Parks with Best in Kentucky Awards

Six Kentucky State Parks were recognized in Kentucky Living magazine’s “Best in Kentucky” Awards, which were announced on Thursday, August 22, 2018 at the Kentucky State Fair. The parks recognized were Cumberland Falls near Corbin, Natural Bridge at Slade, My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown, Fort Boonesborough near Richmond, Green River near Campbellsville, and John James Audubon at Henderson. Recognitions included best selfie spot, best historic site, and best camping spot. Parks Commissioner Donnie Holland said they are honored to be included among the excellent tourist destinations across Kentucky, and they appreciate the support the 49 state parks and their employees receive.
