Governor Matt Bevin has appointed Wesley Kent Varney, of Pikeville, to the office of Circuit Judge for the 35th Judicial Circuit District Family Court, Division 3, of Kentucky. Varney said he appreciates the confidence in his appointment and will serve the people of Pike County to the best of his ability. Judge Varney will serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2019 General Election, pursuance to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
