On Monday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced that the travel ban on leisure out-of-state travel will be lifted for those residents who have been fully vaccinated against COVID19.

Social Distancing and masks are still encouraged to help prevent spread despite vaccination status, but 14 day quarantine upon returning to Kentucky will no longer be necessary for those who have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or the single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

The governor has said that more than 1.438 million Kentuckians have had at least their first dose of the vaccine, and announced multiple more vaccine sites to open across the state.
