This past Tuesday, a Martin County Deputy pulled over a car for not having an illuminated license plate, when he recognized the driver, 35-year-old Rhoades Dials, of Inez, who had been the subject of a citizen complaint that claimed he was dealing drugs.
When the officer informed Dials of this, Dials told him that someone was mad at him and had lied. He then insisted the officer search his vehicle to prove that he didn’t have any drugs.
The deputy performed the search and found a large bag of heroin, two small bags of meth, digital scales, and a large amount cash.
Dials was arrested for trafficking in meth and heroin among other charges.
