A woman out of Pike County has been sentenced to 6-and-a-half years in prison after she pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.

33-year-old Christina Tidwell, of McCarr, pleaded guilty this past May to conspiring to distribute meth. This past Monday, a judge sentenced her to 78 months in prison.

As a part of her plea agreement, she admitted to assisting her boyfriend, 45-year-old Brian Keith Wells, sell drugs throughout Pike and Mingo Counties.

Wells has also pleaded guilty in this case and is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
