Vera Sue Howard age 71 of LaPorte, Indiana formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the Northwest Health Care Center in LaPorte, Indiana from a extended illness. She was born in Magoffin County to the late Troy Minix Jr. and Rosie Cibock Whitaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Coon Whitaker Cemetery at Puncheon Creek, Kentucky. Friends and family may visit the funeral home Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. till time of funeral services.
