Hazard Mayor and High School Principal, Donald Mobelini, and two others who were on-staff at the high school have been reprimanded following the controversial activities seen at the school’s homecoming last month.

Mobelini, Larry Thacker, and Joshua Hart were all given written reprimands by the district on October 27th.

Those letters state that the three men exhibited “poor professional judgement in that you allowed a student-led skit to reach an inappropriate level.” adding “This action placed the school district in a situation of legal liability and cast it in a poor light,”

The three men will be required to attend district-approved training at their own personal expense.

The reprimands explain that any further incidents could result in additional disciplinary action, including termination.
