A man out of Pikeville was arrested after officers caught him driving under the influence in an SUV that had been stolen.

A State Trooper made a stop on 38-year-old Bradley Newsome, of Pikeville, after noticing he only had one working headlight and a license plate that failed to return any records.

After making the stop, the officer noticed that Newsome appeared to be under the influence. He then learned from dispatch that the SUV was stolen by a few men, who left its owner at a pawn shop.

Newsome was charged with receiving stolen property, DUI, and several other charges.
