Edgar J. “Samp” Cruey, age 76, of Harold, KY husband of Joyce D. Case Cruey, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born May 4, 1945 in Richlands, VA a son of the late Edgar Hamilton Cruey and Lillie Bucklan Keen. He was a retired Superintendent in the Mining Industry, a member of the Mouth of Mud Church of Christ and a US Army Veteran

Funeral service for Edgar J. “Samp” Cruey will be conducted Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Johnny Pugh and Steve Case officiatng. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel. Visitation is after 6 PM Friday and all day Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.
