A man out of Whitley County is now facing charges of kidnapping and sexual abuse.
According to troopers with the Kentucky State Police, 41-year-old Charles Durham allegedly met up with an underage girl he met on Snapchat, bringing her back to his house. He allegedly kept the girl there for two days, refusing to let her leave. Troopers indicated that another girl was present, but it is unclear if Durham will face any more charges related to the second girl.
He was charged with kidnapping, unlawful transaction with a minor, sexual abuse, and 4th-degree-assault. He is currently being held in the Whitley County Detention Center.
