Traffic Stop Uncovers Drugs And Stolen Firearm

According to a release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department, two people were arrested by London City Police following a traffic stop on Tuesday.

 

A probable cause search is said to have led to officers discovering over two-pounds of meth, marijuana, and a large amount of cash in addition to six firearms – one of which had been reported stolen.

 

40-year-old Michael Christopher Berry and 34-year-old Amara Paige Creech were arrested and charged with meth trafficking, trafficking in marijuana, and possession of a stolen firearm.

 

Both individuals were transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
