A man out of Floyd County was arrested on Tuesday for child sexual exploitation offenses.

 

24-year-old Christopher Jacob Hall was found, interviewed, and arrested following an encounter with an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The investigation is said to have began following the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch discovering Hall sharing sexually explicit images on the internet.

 

Hall’s home was searched on Tuesday, and computer equipment used in the crime was taken to the Kentucky State Police Forensics Lab.

 

Hall has been charged with 20-counts of possessing child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography. Each charge carries a potential prison sentence of between 5 and 10 years.

 

Hall was transported to the Floyd County Detention Center.
